Man Arrested for Allegedly Pointing Gun at Neighbor After Dispute
A 27-year-old Fountain Valley man is suspected of stalking and assault with a deadly weapon.
A 27-year-old Fountain Valley man was arrested Thursday for allegedly threatening a neighbor with a handgun after a dispute, police said.
After a monthlong investigation, officers took Timothy Khanh Nguyen into custody on suspicion of stalking and assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Fountain Valley Police Department.
FVPD Lt. Ken Hounsley said Nguyen did not fire the gun, but did point it at the neighbor, which is considered assault, Hounsley said.

Hounsley would not identify the neighbor, but said Nguyen had also been stalking the person.
After FVPD investigators arrested Nguyen, officers searched his home and found two handguns, an SKS assault rifle, a samurai sword, an Airsoft pistol and other weapons, police said. Hounsley said Nguyen had licenses for the handguns and the assault rifle.
