View Finder: A Big Parade for Little League Champs

Members of the Ocean View Little League World Series championship team were honored in Huntington Beach.

Hundreds of cheering fans lined Main Street in Huntington Beach on Saturday afternoon and watched the Ocean View Little League World Series champions parade down the street in an antique fire engine.

The young men, their families, coaches, umpires and the Ocean View High School marching band cruised down Main Street as people whooped, applauded and tossed confetti.

After the parade, the team crossed Pacific Coast Highway along with the crowd. They got up on the "Surf City Stage" and were honored by local politicians including Huntington Beach Mayor Joe Carchio and Rep. Dana Rorahbacher.

The crowd cheered as the celebration continued. Shouts and applause followed as a closing explosion of blue and red streamers shot into the sky.
