First Bank collected $800 to purchase 160 backpacks as well as other school supplies during the Western Service Workers Association’s (WSWA) back-to-school supply drive for low-income students in Southern California this summer.
“Our customers are the best,” said Susan Montoya, Senior Vice President/Corporate CRA Officer. “It’s great when everyone works together to help support our communities.”
First Bank offices participating in the school supply drive were: Costa Mesa (3001 Harbor Blvd), Huntington Beach (16900 Goldenwest St.), Newport Beach (4301 MacArthur Blvd), Fountain Valley (18020 Brookhurst St.), Westminster (8251 Westminster), and Yorba Linda (18206 Imperial).
WSWA strives to improve conditions for low-income working people.
