Receive Four Free Tickets to an Angels Game & Meet Angels Pitcher Garrett Richards on Saturday, July 26, 2014

OC Waste & Recycling, in partnership with Discovery Science Center, Goodwill of Orange County, and Angels Baseball will provide free disposal of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Bring your favorite Angels memorabilia for an autograph with Angels starting pitcher Garrett Richards. The first 200 cars to bring household hazardous waste, e-waste or gently used clothing will have priority access to meet Garrett Richards as well as the opportunity to choose between four free tickets to that night’s Angels game or four free general admission tickets to Discovery Science Center (while supplies last).

Come join in the family fun under the Big Red Hats. Enjoy music, games, eco crafts, raffles, food, and festivities. Participants will receive a free battery bucket for safe battery disposal as well as other promotional items, including reusable Eco Challenge insulated shopping totes and Angels can coozies.

“The Angels are proud to be partnering with OC Waste & Recycling,” Angels Chairman Dennis Kuhl said. “We encourage our fans to participate in this event to help keep Orange County a safe and healthy place to live and look forward to seeing the Eco Challenge participants at Angel Stadium this season.”

DISCOVERY SCIENCE CENTER – Eco Crafts will be available for children to enjoy.

MEDIEVAL TIMES – Medieval Times Knights and King will be passing out giveaways.

GOODWILL OF OC – Goodwill will provide donation collection services of reusable clothing,    electronics, and household items. Goodwill will also host a booth with fun carnival activities for children to play.

CITY OF ANAHEIM PUBLIC WORKS – City of Anaheim Department of Public Works staff   will provide information on trash and recycling services
