Fountain Valley 7-Eleven Sells Winning Lottery Ticket

Clerk says the winners are a couple in their late 40s.

The slurpees are sweet at 7-Eleven, but for one lucky lottery winner, a trip to a Fountain Valley store was even sweeter.

One of three winning tickets in the California Lottery Fantasy 5 drawing Saturday was sold in Fountain Valley, at the 7-Eleven on 16475 Harbor Boulevard.

The jackpot prize in the drawing was worth $488,781. Each ticket is worth $162,927.

A clerk at the store said a couple in their late 40s came in Monday to ask how to collect their winnings. He said the pair was very quiet as he referred them to the lottery office in Sacramento. 

The two other winning tickets were sold in Thousand Oaks and Pinole. The winning numbers were 6, 39, 5, 31 and 38.

Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize.
