Food Drive For Fountain Valley Families Coming Soon

Locals will be able to drop off non-perishable items at locations throughout the city.

Clean out your cupboard and help a local family. 

The Fountain Valley Community Foundation and the Fountain Valley Adult Softball Program are hosting a canned food drive to benefit needy families this holiday season.

The softball program will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items from Oct 15. to Oct. 19.

Donations can be made at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center during business hours and at the adult softball fields during the games from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The canned food drive will continue Oct. 20 at many city businesses, where residents can drop off items at bright green boxes.

According to city staff, the goods will be distributed in December to families that live or attend school within city limits.
