Why Go: A little bit of a drive, but how else are you going to witness a 9-year-old phenom solo pianist who has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Good Morning America?

 4. California Western Monarch Butterfly Day
Where/When:
Mile Square Park, Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why Go: Bring out your children ages 4 to 12 can enjoy crafts, nature walks, assist with native plantings and learn all about butterfly habitat.
Pricing: $5 per car

5. Disabled Dance
Where/When: Fountain Valley Recreation Center & Sports Park, Saturday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Why Go: It’s a special gathering for friends, a dance for disabled adults.
Pricing: $1
