Where/When: Triangle Square, Newport Boulevard and West 19th Street, Costa Mesa; 7:30 p.m. Friday
Why go: Three new shorts will be show at the Edwards at Triangle Square. Also , an afterparty at Newport Lexus will include food from some of Newport Beach’s best restaurants
Pricing: Cost for a ticket to one film is $15, ticket to party is $25 and a film and party ticket is $40.

Where/When: Galaxy Theatre, 3503 S. Harbor Blvd., Santa Ana; 8 p.m. Friday
Why go: Because it's not every day that you get to see little people wrestle
Pricing: $20 in advance, $25 at the door

Where/When: Home of Denny & Helen Bolen, 8761 La Zana Court, Fountain Valley and various other locations around Orange County; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday
Why go: Get a look at fabulous gardens planted by neighbors
