Summerfest opens this Friday, but I have a suggestion for a Great Escape that gets you an advance peek. Come to the Thursday preview night and enjoy an early start to your summer.
Our Great Escapes are usually for activities that help you take a break from your Mom routine, but this one lets you take care of the kids and get a break too. All rides on Thursday night are only $1, so you can load the kids up with ride tickets and then head on over to the beer/wine/margarita garden to relax with your hubby. A DJ will be playing all night, so maybe take a spin on the dance floor.

Need to check on the kids? Stop by the carnival games on the way and win yourself a prize. When your crew gets hungry, treat them to the gourmet food trucks that will be on site for Preview Night. The trucks include:
