Firecrackers and Friendly faces decked the halls Thursday at Founders Village as Fountain Valley seniors celebrated our nation’s birth. Red, white and blue images graced the tables and the garments of these active citizens. Entertained by the Pulcini Brothers, oldies but goodies filled the air with the tunes of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Neil Diamond.
"This community is a great example of aging young," said Beth Hambelton of Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center, the sponsor of the event. "They are also a very patriotic group."
