Winning SuperLotto Plus Ticket Sold in Fountain Valley

Although nobody picked all six winning numbers for the $15-million jackpot, a ticket worth more than $17,000 was sold in town.

Double-check your SuperLotto Plus tickets. One of three tickets with five of Saturday's winning SuperLotto Plus numbers was sold in Fountain Valley.

The ticket is worth $17,687, a California Lottery official announced.

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Saturday's SuperLotto Plus drawing, and the jackpot for Wednesday's drawing will increase to $15 million.

Drawings take place every Wednesday and Saturday after draw entry closes at 7:45 p.m.

Three tickets with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, were sold
in Fountain Valley, Woodland Hills and Simi Valley.

The numbers drawn Saturday were 2, 11, 12, 26, 42 and the Mega number was
7. The jackpot was $14 million.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 
41,416,353, according to the SuperLotto Plus web site.

$193 million is the record high for SuperLotto Plus, says the web site.
