Concert Series Continues With Elvis Tribute

Raymond Michael takes the stage Thursday with his renowned Presley renditions.

Hollywood may have had its royal visit from the prince and princess, but Fountain Valley will gladly welcome its visit from The King.

Renowned Elvis Presley tribute performer Raymond Michael will take the stage Thursday at the Sports Park in the third installment of the city's Concerts in the Park series.

The evening's events will begin at 5 p.m., with Nonprofit Night. The concert will begin at 6 p.m.

Michael has performed all over the country, and recently returned from a tour of the Midwest commorating the 25th anniversary of Presley's death. When not performing as Elvis, Michael teaches chorus and musical show production at Moorpark High School. In 2001 he was honored with NBC 4 Television's Crystal Apple Award for Teaching Excellence, and in 2009 he received the Champion of the Arts Award from the High Street Theatre Foundation.
