Locals packed the on Thursday as the city kicked off its annual Concerts in the Park series with classic rock band The Answer.
Kids were treated to face painting, balloon animals and a visit from city mascot Freddie Valley while the adults enjoyed plenty of upbeat tunes from their favorite classic rock bands, along with some funk, soul and country favorites.
Tossed in for good measure was plenty of swag from the band, some of which was shot into the crowd from high-pressure T-shirt guns.
