Local Doctor Reprimanded by State
Dr. Maurice S. Ghattas of Fountain Valley is disciplined by state medical board for failing to maintain proper records.
A Fountain Valley physician has been reprimanded by the state medical board because he "failed to maintain timely, accurate and thorough medical records."
, based at 11180 Warner Ave., received a public letter of reprimand Aug. 29, after an investigation by the Medical Board of California, according to the board's website.
His recordkeeping was considered a violation of the state Business and Professions Code, according to the letter of reprimand.
