Cockroaches, Other Problems Close Marie Callender's for a Day

Health inspectors found several problems at the Fountain Valley restaurant.

Health inspectors closed last week Marie Callender's in Fountain Valley for a day because of a cockroach infestation and other problems.

An inspector with Orange County Health Care Agency visited the restaurant, at 18889 Brookhurst St., March 25.

“Live cockroach activity was observed within the cabinet under the pie serving station. Multiple cockroaches of various life cycles were observed throughout the cabinet,” wrote the inspector in an online report.
