Chamber of Commerce Speaker Series Opens with Health Care Reform Expert

Local business owners and human resources managers are invited to brush up on health care reform Wednesday night during a presntation by industry expert and attorney Samuel Hoffman.

The event will be held in the City Council chambers at 6:30 p.m., and is presented by the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce as part of the Hyundai Speaker Series. Hoffman's presentation will highlight what employers should already have done to be in compliance with new health care laws, what they'll need to do this year, and what they'll need to do in 2013 and 2014 as well.

Hoffman is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP, and a member of the firm's employee benefits and executive compensation practice, as well as the health care industry team. Hoffman represents health care providers and governmental entities throughout California and the United States in employee benefits matters, with emphasis on such matters as pension plans, executive deferred compensation programs, health plans, bonus programs, compensation matters, and insurance issues.
