Insurance Company Takes Fountain Valley Hospital Back

After ending its coverage in Dec. Health Net agreed to start covering services at the hospital again, the company announced Wednesday.

Health Net Inc. has reached agreements to resume covering services at six hospitals in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties -- including one in Seal Beach that were terminated from its network last month, the health insurance provider announced today.

The new, multi-year agreements between Health Net and Tenet Healthcare cover Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Indio, Los Alamitos Medical Center, Lakewood Regional Medical Center and Placentia Linda Hospital.

Health Net stopped covering health and medical services at the hospitals at . The new agreements
reinstate and retroactively cover the hospitals, as if there was no termination, according to the insurance provider.
