Restaurant Reopens After Health Closure

Thuy's Food to Go was temporarily shut down in August for storing foods at unsafe temperatures.

Health inspectors briefly closed Thuy's Food to Go after twice finding the restaurant storing food at unsafe temperatures.

In July, county inspectors found several foods stored at unsafe temperatures, including:

  • Rice noodles
  • Eggs
  • Cooked shrimp
  • Egg and pork stew
  • Chicken

Again in August, inspectors found eggplant stored at an unsafe temperature and closed Thuy's for part of the day Aug. 28. Following a reinspection, the restaurant was allowed to reopen.
