Cockroach Infestation, Rodents Reported at Carl's Jr.

Carl's Jr. in Huntington Beach was closed temporarily earlier this month after county health inspectors found cockroaches at the restaurant.


Carl's Jr. in Huntington Beach was closed temporarily earlier this month by county health officials after inspectors found cockroaches and evidence of rodents inside the restaurant.

During a routine inspection on July 10, Carl's Jr. was cited with four major health violations including cockroach and rodent infestation, and four minor health violations. According to the health report, inspectors found  a live nymph cockroach on the drive-thru window and rodent droppings under the soda machine and in other areas of the restaurant.
Carl's Jr. was later allowed to reopen after a follow-up inspection.
