School Names Top Graduating Seniors at Los Amigos
Trisha Vo and Freddi Tran are named valedictorians and Austin Hoang chosen as salutatorian.
Three stellar students have been named by the Garden Grove Unified School District as the valedictorians and salutatorian of Los Amigos High School.
Graduating seniors Trisha Vo and Freddi Tran were selected as valedictorians for earning straight A's during all four years at Los Amigos, while Austin Hoang was chosen as salutatorian, according to Robin Patterson, the high school's principal.
"This year we have two top scholars who have earned straight A’s and thus have earned the title of Valedictorian," Patterson said. "The next highest achieving student earns the title of salutatorian."

Valedictorian Trisha Vo
Trisha not only earned straight A’s, but earned a 4.51 weighted GPA. This is the highest GPA in the class and along with being named a Valedictorian, also earned her the honor of being our Highest Honored Scholar, Patterson said. Trisha took six honors classes and 11 AP classes in her high school career. Trisha will be attending University of the Pacific in the fall to study Biology and enter the Pre-Dental program.

Valedictorian Freddi Tran
Along with earning straight A’s, Freddi earned a 4.42 weighted GPA. In his high school career, Freddi took six Honors classes and nine AP classes. Freddi will be studying Biology at UCLA in the fall, according to Patterson.
Salutatorian Austin Hoang
Austin earned a 3.9 GPA and a weighted GPA of 4.42. In his high school career, Austin took six honors classes and 10 AP classes. Patterson said Austin will be attending UCLA in the fall to study Biology.
