Fountain Valley's Orchard Supply Hardware Closing Soon
Items at the Orchard Supply Hardware are currently 10 percent off as the store prepares to shut its doors.
The Orchard Supply Hardware store in Fountain Valley is getting ready to close, so you might want to take advantage of some discounts while they last.
It is unknown why the store, located at 17200 Brookhurst St., has decided to shut down, but officials said the closure will likely happen soon.
"I was in there just yesterday and things are 10 percent off," Matt Jenkins, the city's assistant planner, said. "The closing is probably a few weeks away."
The store is currently in a "clearance time period," according to Rick Saunders, spokesman for Orchard Supply Hardware. He said there is not a scheduled date for the store's closure.
"They are having a clearance sale right now, so it depends on how long that takes," Saunders said.
He declined to comment about what prompted the store's closure.
Jenkins said there's no word yet on what could be moving into the spot on Brookhurst Street when Orchard Supply Hardware moves out.
"No applications have been submitted for any type of use in that place," Jenkins said.
