A memorial service for George Scott, the former five-term mayor for Fountain Valley, will be held Sunday, June 23, at 4 p.m. The service will be at the Boys & Girls Club, Kingston Branch in Fountain Valley, located at 16582 Brookhurst Street (at Heil).
Those who knew him are invited to attend the service. Dress is described as "respectfully festive."
Scott died on May 28 after battling cancer. He served Fountain Valley for 27 years, with 20 of those years as Mayor. He was 80.
