The Week Ahead in Fountain Valley

Busy week features football finales, Veterans Day ceremony

Tuesday: A public hearing will be held regarding the potential closure of Moiola School. Parents and community members of Fountain Valley and surrounding cities are encouraged to attend this hearing and voice their opinion regarding the potential closure and school boundary changes that have yet to be determined. The hearing will be held at the at 7 p.m. in the district board room.

Wednesday: The Fountain Valley Planning Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m., in the council chambers at

Thursday: will take on Rancho Alamitos in its final regular-season game with the Garden Grove League title on the line. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m., at Garden Grove High.

Friday: A Veterans Day ceremony will be held at Heritage Park. The ceremony is sponsored by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9557 and its Ladies Auxiliary, which  have partnered with Girl Scout Troop 1121, who will offer fun patriotic crafts, games, and music for all ages following the ceremony.
