“Funds raised in March for Babies not
only support our efforts to build a world of healthier moms and babies, we also
fund programs that bring comfort and information to families of babies born too
sick or too soon,” said Karyn DeMartini, California State Director of the March
of Dimes.  “We expect more than 7,000
people, including families from Fountain Valley, local celebrities, elected officials, and corporate
supporters to join us for this fun, family-focused event.”

The Orange
County
March for Babies is locally sponsored by Cisco and St. Joseph Health
and will step off from Fashion Island on Sunday, April 27, on its 3.5-mile
journey for healthier moms and babies.  Kenneth D. McFarland of Mission Hospital is the event chair.
