Come join Orange County community members as they celebrate the start of the season of packing shoeboxes
Speaker
Alex Nsengimana who after living through the Rwandan genocide, received a shoebox gift that sparked a new course of hope in his life. He will share his story as a tangible testimony to the power of a simple gift.
The celebration event will be the
first step in getting shoeboxes packed with
toys, school supplies and hygiene items from Nov. 18–25. The San Diego drop off
location is the first stop on a journey across the world for thousands of gifts
packed by local residents. The boxes are then processed, prepared and delivered
to hurting children overseas using whatever means necessary—boats, airplanes, trains and even elephants.
