Tree Lighting Ceremony - Fountain Valley

On Saturday, December 7, the City of Fountain Valley
Recreation and Community Services Department will be hosting the 2013 Tree
Lighting from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center
and Sports Park.  Everyone is invited to this FREE
fun family event to watch the tree being lit by the Mayor and Santa, followed
by an extravagant fireworks show.  NEW this year - the Hyundai Snow Zone! Forty tons of snow
will create a winter wonderland where children will be able to go sledding and
make snow angles.  Participants are
encouraged to bring mittens, boots, and to dress warmly.  This activity is made possible by Hyundai. The
event will also include live entertainment, crafts, games, pictures with Santa,
and vendors. Fountain Valley’s local organizations will have lots of tasty
treats available for purchase.
