The Fountain Valley Community Foundation puts on various events and programs each year which allows Fountain Valley based Nonprofits to raise money at no cost to them. FVCF takes on all the costs and responsibility of planning these programs and the organizations have to do is market it, get people to select their nonprofit to benefit, and sit back to collect a check. Easy money! I'm amazed that more organizations don't get involved with programs such as:
- Anytime Fitness 5K Fun Run - Feb. 9
- FVCF Poker Tournament - March 16
- Mr. Fountain Valley Pageant - April 12
- FVCF Poker Tournament - October 5
In addition, they are hosting a car raffle right now where organizations can sell tickets and get money back. The Prius has already been donated and includes taxes and registration. Organizations just need to notify their members and friends to buy tickets from them and they get money!
I don't think it could be any easier yet not every Fountain Valley organization is taking advantage of these easy money makers. If interested, organizations should contact info@fvcommunityfoundation.org or visit their website at fvcommunityfoundation.org.
