2 Residential Grand Thefts Reported

Police reports from around Fountain Valley.

Identity theft was reported April 3 on San Clemente Street. A Fountain Valley man reported that unknown suspects made three attempts to open credit card accounts using his personal information.

Grand theft was reported April 2 on Slater Avenue. Unknown suspects broke into a carport storage cabinet and stole a bike rack and other property valued at $1,115.

Theft from a vehicle was reported April 2 on Talbert Avenue. Unknown suspects broke the window of a 2010 Ford Focus and stole a briefcase containing billing documents. Damage to the car was estimate at $300.

Theft from a vehicle was reported April 9 on Brookhurst Street. Unknown suspects broke the window of a 2012 Toyota Prius and stole property valued at $591. Damage to the car was estimated at $300.

Identity theft was reported April 9 on Redeye Circle. A Fountain Valley man reported that unknown suspects went online and charged $43 to his credit card.

Theft from a vehicle was reported April 6 on Euclid Street. Unknown suspects broke the window of a 2011 Honda CR-Z and stole property valued at $1,730. Damage to the car was estimated at $200.

Theft from a vehicle was reported April 6 on Bushard Avenue. Unknown suspects broke the window of a 2008 Toyota Camry and stole property valued at $700. Damage to the car was estimated at $250.

Theft from a vehicle was reported April 5 on Slater Avenue. Unknown suspects broke the window of a 2003 Toyota 4Runner and stole property valued at $650. Damage to the car was estimated at $200.

Grand theft was reported April 5 on Cottonwood Street. Unknown suspects stole property valued at $1,745 from an unlocked backyard shed.
