405 Closed at Euclid Because of Crash

Oil in the roadway also makes the area unsafe, officials said.

The California Highway Patrol says the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway has been closed, just north of Euclid Street, in Fountain Valley because of a collision and oil in the roadway.

The CHP says traffic is being taken off the freeway at the Euclid. The cleanup is expected to take until about 12:45 p.m..
