Armed-Robbery Suspects Arrested

Brian Lee and Quinntion Barnes were arrested Thursday in connection with the robbery of JB Jewelry in Fountain Valley.

Two suspects were arrested Thursday on suspicion of robbery, kidnapping and elder abuse after they allegedly robbed in Fountain Valley.

According to police, Brian Lee, 38, and Quinntion Barnes, 27, showed up at the store just before 11 a.m., armed with a handgun. During the robbery, the suspects also allegedly bound and gagged the 72-year-old clerk who was working at the store before making off with $104,000 worth of jewelry.

A few hours, later, Lee and Barnes were stopped by LAPD officers, who discovered the stolen jewelry and contacted Fountain Valley police, authorities said.

Lee and Barnes were booked into the Orange County jail. Both are being held without bail.
