An early morning crash at a Westminster intersection injured eight people Sunday, authorities said.
The accident involved two vehicles that collided at Beach Boulevard and Bolsa Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. One of the vehicles overturned, trapping several people inside, according to the Orange County Fire Authority. One of the drivers was ejected.
Those who suffered injuries, to varying degrees, were transported to area hospitals.
Westminster police closed southbound Beach Boulevard at Bolsa, as well as eastbound Bolsa Avenue at Beach to investigate the accident.
Investigators are seeking information from any witnesses who saw the collision. They should call 714-898-33156.
