Escaped Prisoner Found in Oceanside Motel

Freedom doesn't last long for a prisoner that escaped from a maximum-security jail in Orange County on Friday.

A prisoner that escaped from an Orange County jail on Friday was captured by authorities in an Oceanside motel early Saturday morning, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

Saith Na, 26, was discovered missing during a body count at the Theo Lacy Facility, a maximum-security jail in Orange. Na was booked into the jail in August 2012 for suspicion of robbery, narcotics, weapons possession and criminal street terrorism, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

Investigators searching for Na were tipped that he was in the Oceanside area and they took him into custody around 5:30 a.m. The name of the Oceanside motel where Na was found was not released.
