Expletive Carved Into Local Man's Car

Vehicle vandalism at the Fountain Plaza parking lot on Quail Court near Brookhurst Street, Sept. 20 at 9:15 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) engraved “[Expletive] your wife” on the passenger side of a man's vehicle.

Theft from a vehicle in the Fountain Valley High School parking lot on Bushard Street, Sept. 19 at 4:27 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) broke the rear passenger window and took a duffel bag worth $580, but ignored a wallet and laptop in plain sight. Damage estimated at $200.

Residential burglary on El Rey Avenue, Sept. 18 at 11:51 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry through unknown means and fled with $5,000 worth of property. No damages reported.

Vehicle vandalism on Mt. Lyndora Court, Sept. 17 at 2:36 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) slashed the right rear tire. Estimated damage: $120.

Theft from Sam’s Club on Brookhurst Street and Warner Avenue, Sept. 15 at 3:36 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) removed 35 used batteries worth $179 from a fenced-off area.

Theft from a residence on Mount Mitchell Circle near Lilac Way, Sept. 14 at 7:04 p.m. The resident found a male juvenile looking around in her garage. When she confronted him, he took her scooter and rode off on it. 

Theft from a vehicle in a carport on San Mateo Street, Sept. 14 at 3:43 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) smashed the right passenger window and fled with $100 worth of property, leaving an estimated damage of $300.
