Fountain Valley DUI Checkpoint Nets 2 Arrests

More then 900 cars traveled through the checkpoint Dec. 23.

A Fountain Valley Police checkpoint Dec. 23 produced two arrests, one for DUI and another for driving on a suspended license.

Two cars were also impounded during the checkpoint, which was held between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. on Warner Avenue west of Magnolia Street. Two citations were issued, one for possession of marijuana and another for driving without a license.

A total of 925 cars traveled through the checkpoint, with officers contacting 807 drivers.
