Fountain Valley Police Collect 118 Pounds of Drugs at Take-Back

Nation's drug enforcement agency conducts the anonymous prescription drug disposal event every year.

That's a lot of drugs.

The National Drug Take Back netted Fountain Valley Police Department 118 pounds of prescription medicine for disposal, according to a release.

The city took part in the event April 27, an event aimed at giving folks a way to anonymously get rid of unwanted and unused prescription drugs.

The national Drug Enforcement Agency with state and local law enforcement agencies conducts the National Prescription Drug Take Back Days every year.
