"We have taken an aggressive stance against graffiti vandals and taggers in our community," staff said in a statement posted on the city's web site. "Please help us in these efforts by reporting graffiti incidents so that we can arrest the vandals and immediately repair the damage."

If residents report graffiti quickly, it increases the chance of removing the paint, as it may not have had the chance to completely bond with the surface of the vandalized object, city staff says.
