Local Man Reports Catalytic Converter Stolen Near Fountain Bowl

A $1,000 catalytic converter was reported stolen from a Toyota 4Runner parked near Fountain Bowl on Brookhurst Street and Warner Avenue on Aug. 2 at 10:25 p.m. No suspect(s) were seen or heard.

A $700 cell phone was reported missing from Euclid Street at Mile Square Park, Aug. 2 at 4:54 p.m. The phone had been placed under a shirt left on the ground near the basketball courts. No suspect(s) were seen or heard.

A $3,200 third row seating bench was reported stolen from a Cadillac Escalade on Redwood Street on Aug. 2 at 10:57 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry through the unlocked rear hatch and fled undetected with the bench and a pair of headphones.

A $500 pressure valve connected to the main water source was reported missing from Da Lat Bistro on Brookhurst Street and Heil Avenue on Aug. 2 at 10:42 a.m. No suspect(s) were seen or heard.

Two rear seats worth $1,400 were reported stolen from a GMC Yukon parked on Oak Street on Aug. 2 at 8:26 a.m. No signs of forced entry were seen. Unknown suspect(s) fled undetected.

Graffiti was reported on Powderhorn River Court and Glacier Court on July 30 at 9:18 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) used a black-ink marker to write "DORN EDIR 2011" and unknown words and symbols on the southwest wall, northwest wooden fence and on parking signs. Damage was estimated at $200.
