Local Woman Reports Identity Theft After Receiving Hefty Medical Bill

Identify theft was reported on La Barca Circle, June 14 at 5:08 p.m., when a woman received a $755 bill for medical services she did not seek. The medical facility confirmed that the unknown suspect was received care using the victim's personal information.

Theft from a vehicle was reported on Harbor Boulevard near Heil Street, June 12 at 3:16 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry through the unlocked driver's side door and fled undetected with a GPS and a coin purse, valued at $120.

Theft from a vehicle was reported from a carport on Emery Court, June 12 at 11:27 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the secured vehicle by smashing the rear driver's side window, and fled undetected with $50 worth of property, leaving an estimated $100 worth of damage.

Theft from a vehicle was reported on Calle Independencia, June 12 at 9:18 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the secured vehicle by smashing the passenger side window and fled undetected with $40 worth of property, leaving $100 worth of damage.

A woman reported $960 worth of power tools and two archery bows stolen from her residential garage on Olympic Court, June 11 at 5:58 p.m. when her open garage was left unsecured for 15 minutes. Unknown suspect(s) fled undetected.

Vehicle tampering was reported when a 1999 Toyota Avalon front emblem and exterior side mirrors, valued at $225, were discovered missing while parked on Gloxinia Avenue, June 9 at 6:17 pm.

Vehicle tampering was reported on Starling Avenue, June 9 at 3:57 p.m. when the owner discovered that all four tires were flat and the paint was scratched. Unknown suspect(s) fled undetected, leaving an estimated $2,000 worth of damage.

Grande Apartments reported $300 worth of coins stolen from the complex's laundry room on Clover Court, June 7 at 10:07 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) entered the unsecured area and used a tool to file down the locking mechanism of the coin holders of three dryers before fleeing undetected. Damage was estimated at $150.
