Man Found Dead in House after Fumigating in Westminster

The body was found around 6 p.m. by an employee of a fumigation company as he removed the protective wrapping from the house in the 14400 block of Monroe Lane.

The body of a man found tonight on the back porch of a Westminster house under fumigation appeared to have been poisoned, police said.

The body was found around 6 p.m. by an employee of a fumigation company as he removed the protective wrapping from the house in the 14400 block of Monroe Lane, Westminster Police Department Cpl. Eddie Esqueda said.

The cause of death was "definitely not" homicide, but mostly likely poisoning, Esqueda said.

The victim was not a resident of the house, Esqueda said.

The name of the fumigation company was not known, Esqueda said.
