Massage Therapist Suspected of Sexually Assaulting Clients

Brea Police are investigating the therapist who is from Fullerton. Police said there may be more victims and are asking people to come foreword.

A 52-year-old massage therapist was arrested today on charges that he sexually assaulted three customers dating back to 2000, but Brea police suspect there are additional victims.

Michael James Jackson of Fullerton is charged with three counts of sexual penetration by means of fraudulent representation of professional purpose, and one count each of rape, sexual penetration by foreign object and force, sexual penetration of an unconscious victim, and possession or control of child pornography.

He's being held in lieu of $1 million bail, with arraignment expected Monday.

A 38-year-old Brea woman called police in October of last year, alleging Jackson inappropriately touched her during a massage at her home, Brea police Lt. Darrin Devereux said.

As police were investigating her claims, a 31-year-old woman in Huntington Beach and a 48-year-old woman from Newport Beach came forward with similar allegations, Devereux said.

The Huntington Beach woman accused Jackson of sexually assaulting her last year, and the Newport Beach woman alleged she was sexually assaulted in 2000, Devereux said.

Jackson, who operated "On the Spot Therapy," is suspected of sexually assaulting other victims who may have been "too embarrassed" to contact investigators, Devereux said.

When police searched Jackson's home last December, a computer allegedly containing images of child pornography was seized, the lieutenant said.

Anyone with information about Jackson was asked to call Detective Debbie Stark at (714) 990-7638.
