Motorcycle Crash Victim ID'ed
Travis Schumacher, 42, died after his vehicle hit a tree in Huntington Beach. His passenger was injured.
A man who died after slamming his motorcycle into a Huntington Beach tree was identified Tuesday by the county coroner's office.
He was 42-year-old Travis Schumacher. The single-vehicle wreck, which also injured his passenger, happened at Springdale Street and McFadden Avenue at 10:37 p.m. March 23, according to a Metro Net fire dispatcher.
Schumacher died at the scene and his passenger was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, police said.
