Two 18-year-olds and a juvenile suspected of burglarizing a Fountain Valley home were arrested today.

A resident from the 16000 block of Sandalwood Street called police around 1 p.m. after seeing someone enter a neighbor's yard, according to Fountain Valley police.

Officers arrived and detained Andre Taing, who was in a car parked across the street, allegedly acting as a lookout, police said.

“It was confirmed the suspects forced entry into a rear window and ransacked the residence,” according to a police statement.

Officers searched the area and located two additional suspects, one of them a juvenile and the other identified as Richard Van, hiding in a nearby backyard, police said.

The two were allegedly in possession of stolen property when they were found, according to police.

The property was recovered and returned to its owner.

All three suspects were arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy to commit a crime, police said.

Taing and Van were booked into the Orange County Jail and the minor into juvenile hall, police said.
