O.C. Man who Molested 14-Year-Old Boy He Met on Craigslist Gets 3 Years

Mark Aime Brosseau will also have to register as a sex offender.

A 57-year-old man convicted of sexually molesting a 14-year-old boy he met via Craigslist was sentenced today to three years in prison and will be required to register as a sex offender for life.

Mark Aime Brosseau, of Stanton, was convicted Oct. 30 of lewd acts on a child, contacting a child with the intent to commit lewd acts and meeting a child with intent to engage in a lewd act, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office.

On Sept. 25, 2010, Brosseau parked his Ford pickup in a structure at Bella Terra Mall in Huntington Beach and engaged in sexual conduct with the boy, whom he had met via craigslist in June 2010, according to court records.

Once released from prison, Brosseau will be required to register his address and other contact information with local police wherever he goes.
