Woman Dies in Crash With Concrete Sign

Joanna Mace, 24, was killed after crashing her car into a concrete sign in Orange early Sunday.

A Huntington Beach woman suffered fatal injuries when she crashed her car into a concrete sign in the city of Orange, a police lieutenant said today.

The woman crashed her car into a sign at Katella and Struck avenues at about 3:31 a.m., said police Lt. D. Nichols.

She was transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange.

The Orange County coroner's office said she died of her injuries at 4:06 a.m. Saturday at UCI and identified the victim as Joanna Mace, 24, of Huntington Beach.
