Police: Man Caught Videotaping Women in Fountain Valley Dressing Room; Additional Victims Sought

A high school assistant track coach is suspected of secretly filming women as they changed in a Fountain Valley dressing room-- and police believe there are multiple additional victims, authorities said Thursday.

Fountain Valley Police Detective Jesse Hughes says 56-year-old Scott Ruvolo was arrested July 11, "...after he was attempting to record women changing in the dressing room at the Salvation Army thrift store located at 16119 Brookhurst in Fountain Valley."

According to a statement from the detective, police investigators have since found another two victims recorded on Ruvolo's phone.

"Other video footage indicates Ruvolo had his cell phone clipped to his belt and recorded women while walking around unknown Target stores and Starbucks," he said.

However, police need help identifying these and any other additional victims.  The alleged crimes are believed to have occurred between June and July of this year.

If you feel you or someone you know may have been recorded by Ruvolo, call Hughes at 714-593-4480.

Ruvalo was working as an assistant track coach at Calvary Chapel High School in Santa Ana at the time of his arrest, according to Hughes.
