A pretrial hearing for a was postponed Friday to Aug. 17.
Patricia Serrano, 43, is charged with three felony counts of lewd conduct with a child. The charges carry a penalty of up to 12 years in prison. She is accused of having unlawful sex with the boy on two occasions in October: in her home and in a car.
Serrano is accused of kissing the boy in a locked room on one occasion. The alleged victim’s mother said she discovered Serrano in the room with her son. The mother said she did not see any sexual activity but became suspicious of Serrano’s relationship with her son and reported it to police.
According to an Orange County district attorney spokesperson, a judge continued today's pretrial hearing to Aug. 17 in Department W-2 at the West Justice Center, 8141 13th St., Westminster.
