Television Reported Stolen from CVS

Police briefs from around Fountain Valley.

A woman reported a video game console and a cell phone, valued at $460, stolen from her residence on Jan. 12 at 11:00 p.m.  The items were discovered missing after a party, held on Jan 8.  The woman believed that several uninvited guests who showed up to the party were responsible for taking the items. 

A man reported items valued at $11,510 stolen from his residence on Santa Elena Avenue, Jan.11 at 4 p.m.  After failing to pry a window open, the suspect(s) gained entry into the home by unknown means and ransacked the master bedroom.  The suspect(s) fled the scene by using a folding step to climb over a neighboring wall from the backyard.  An estimated $60 in window damages was also reported. 

An unknown suspect reportedly stole a television set from CVS Pharmacy on Jan. 8 at 8:07 p.m. The suspect was seen leaving the store with the TV, valued at $200, and getting into a vehicle that was awaiting for him in front of the store. The vehicle was spotted driving northbound on Magnolia Street.

Arrests
A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of sex solicitation Jan. 13 at 4:17 p.m. and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail.

A 51-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of riding a bicycle under the influence on Jan.11 at 4:53 p.m. and was released on a citation.

A 37-year-old man was arrested on a felony warrant Jan. 13 at 1:23 p.m. and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail.

A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana on Jan.11 at 11:33 a.m. and was released on a citation.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana on Jan. 11 at 12:34 a.m. and was released on a citation.
