Time Warner Reports Fiber Optic Box Stolen

Grand theft was reported May 19 on Buttonwood Street. Unknown suspects used wire cutters to remove a Time Warner Cable fiber optic node box valued at $2,500.

Theft from a vehicle was reported May 20 on Brookhurst Street. Unknown suspects broke the window and lock of a 2004 Toyota Highlander and stole the owner's driver's license and credit card. Damage to the car was estimated at $250.

Theft from a vehicle was reported May 20 on Flicker Avenue. Unknown suspects entered an unlocked 2006 Chevy pickup and stole a backpack containing property valued at $190.

Grand theft was reported May 28 on Magnolia Street. Unknown suspects stole an envelope containing $3,098 in cash from the victim while she was checking out of a local store.

Theft from a vehicle was reported May 29 on Brookhurst Street. Unknown suspects broke into a 1999 GMC Jimmy and stole property valued at $320.


Residential burglary was reported My 18 on Shasta Street. Unknown suspects pried off a window screen and stole electronics valued at $1,070.

Theft from a vehicle was reported May 23 on La Colonia Avenue. Unknown suspects broke into a 2012 Hyundai Sonata and stole property valued at $2,360.

Residential burglary was reported May 22 on Rosemary Avenue. Unknown suspects broke into the house through the front bathroom window and stole property valued at $1,200.

Theft from a vehicle was reported May 23 on Santa Carlotta Street. Unknown suspects broke into a 1999 GMC Yukon and stole a book bag containing a GPS unit valued at $495.

Commercial burglary was reported May 22 at Sam's Club. An unknown suspect walked into the store with a backpack and filled it with items valued at 840. 62 before leaving in a white vehicle.

Theft from a vehicle was reported May 18 on Brookhurst Street. Unknown suspects broke the window of a 2001 Toyota 4Runner and stole property valued at $5,240. Damage to the car was estimated at $300.
