Car Vandalism, Petty Theft, Stolen Car Reported in Fountain Valley

Police reports from around the city.

Some Fountain Valley residents were recently victims of property crimes, police reported.

Vehicle Vandalism

According to Fountain Valley Police, a car parked in the 11000 block of Condor was recently targeted by vandals. Sometime between Sunday, Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 5 p.m., a vandal smashed the front driver's side window of the car with an unknown object.

Petty Theft

Police say sometime between Sunday, Feb. 3 at 9 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m., an unknown suspect entered a home in the 16000 block of Plumas Court. According to police, the suspect stole items worth about $1,000.

Stolen Vehicle

A man who was playing basketball at the recreation center in the 16400 block of Brookhurst reported his car stolen on Tuesday, Feb. 5, police reported. The car was parked in the back lot next to the fields.
