Holiday Closures and Trash Collection Schedule

The City of Fountain Valley City Hall Offices will be closed from Saturday, Dec. 24 through Tuesday, Jan. 3. If the public needs immediate assistance, including emergency water turn on, they can contact the Police Department front desk at 714-593-4485.

Because both Christmas and New Year's Day fall on Sundays, there will be no changes in the trash collection or street sweeping schedules.

Rainbow Disposal will recycle non-artificial Christmas trees placed at the curb for collection. Flocked trees are also accepted. The collected trees will be shredded into ground cover material. Recycling Christmas trees helps to extend the limited lifespan of local landfills. Trees should be no taller than six feet, and should have all lights and ornaments removed.
